PageDrop (“we”, “us”, or “the Service”) helps you upload HTML or ZIP packages and publish them as shareable web pages. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using PageDrop, you agree to this Policy.
1. Information we collect
- Account data — email address and a hashed password when you register.
- Billing data — if you upgrade to a paid plan, payment is processed by Creem. We may store plan status, customer/subscription IDs, and period end dates. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
- Published content — HTML, assets, notes, tags, and custom URL slugs you upload or create.
- Usage data — site view counts and related analytics for published pages (where enabled by plan), and operational logs (for example publish, login, or moderation events) which may include IP address and timestamps.
- Session data — authentication cookies or tokens needed to keep you signed in.
2. How we use information
- Provide, operate, and improve the Service (publish pages, manage accounts, show analytics).
- Process subscriptions and communicate about billing (via Creem where applicable).
- Enforce our content rules, prevent abuse, and secure the platform.
- Respond to support or legal requests when required by law.
3. Hosting and processors
PageDrop runs on third-party cloud hosting and infrastructure. Paid subscriptions are processed by Creem. These providers handle data only as needed to operate the Service under their own terms and privacy policies.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
We use essential cookies or local/session storage for authentication and security. We do not use advertising trackers on the marketing or workspace pages. Published pages you host may include scripts or trackers you add yourself; those are your responsibility.
5. Sharing of information
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with infrastructure and payment providers as needed to operate PageDrop, or when required by law, or to protect the Service and its users.
6. Data retention
We keep account and published content while your account is active. You may delete published sites from your workspace. If you ask to close your account, we will delete or anonymize personal account data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain records for security, billing disputes, or legal obligations.
7. Your choices
- Update or delete sites you publish from the workspace.
- Manage or cancel paid subscriptions through the billing portal when available.
- Contact the site operator (see below) to request account deletion or a copy of your account data.
8. Children
PageDrop is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. International processing
Your information may be processed in regions where our hosting, payment, or infrastructure providers operate. By using the Service, you understand that data may be transferred across borders as needed to provide PageDrop.
10. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Effective date” at the top will change when we do. Continued use of PageDrop after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
